Carter Gould is Chief Risk Officer of Tuckerbrook Alternative Investments. Carter has an extensive history of successfully managing the risk of a global clearing operation as well as significant experience in trading and position management.

From 1990 through 2001, Carter managed the risk of derivative clearing exposure for Merrill Lynch's subsidiary Wagner Stott, and then for ING Barings Securities, Futures and Options Clearing Services, where he served as the Director of Global Risk Management. While at ING he managed the risk relationships for the institutions, hedge funds, floor professionals, and the firm's proprietary trading group. He also served as the Chairman of the firm's Global Credit Committee. From 1983 to 1989 Carter was a member of the American Stock Exchange. He initially traded for the hedge fund, Financial Options Associates, and later traded as a General Partner for an independent Broker Dealer

Carter has long been an advocate of technology and was instrumental in the development of ING's global real-time risk management system.

While in Chicago he served as a member of the Chicago Board of Options Exchange New Product Development Committee, and the Exchange's Clearing Procedures Regulatory Committee.

More recently Carter worked for a Chicago-based startup hedge fund, with the responsibility for trading and trading strategy development. The firm concentrated in the derivatives markets and various forms of arbitrage trading.

Carter Gould holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Economics from Union College.
